Academy Organisation

Times of the day:

• Breakfast club in the Breakfast Room and Simmond's Hall.  7:30am – 8:30am
• Doors open at 8:30am 
• Registration closes at 8:50am
• Daily Reflection takes place each day in classes except when there is an assembly
• KS1 has a 15-minute morning and 15-minute afternoon playtime.  They also have a play session during their lunchtime. 
• KS2 have a 15-minute morning playtime and a play session during their lunchtime. 
• Lunch begins at:
  • 11.40am for Foundation Stage and ends at 12.30pm. This may vary initially until Reception has settled into school.
  • 12:05pm until 12.55pm in years 2, 3, 4 and 5.
  • 12:30pm and ends at 1.20pm for year 6.

Lunchtime supervisors are instrumental in maintaining a positive environment at lunchtime. They will lead play and engage with children where possible. All our staff looking after children are staff working within the academy in other roles.

School ends at 3:10pm for all year groups. 

Average total time per week: 32.5 hours.
