Hours: 32.5 hours, term time only.
Salary: Grade 6, Point 7-12, £16,322.87 - £17,874.97 per annum
Discovery Primary Academy are looking for a highly motivated, exceptional individual to work as part of the Inclusion Team. If you have the motivation to make a real difference, excellent people skills and a willing to work hard then Discovery Primary Academy is the place for you.
The successful candidate will support our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in the provision for safeguarding on a day-to-day basis as well as supporting the management of the emotional and behavioural needs of children within the academy. The role will also include working closely with the Attendance Officer in ensuring all children achieve excellent attendance levels.
You will be working within the context of the academy’s aims and policies, to work closely with our DSL, parents and on occasion, professionals to support pupils to overcome barriers that are preventing them from achieving their full potential.
