Salary: £15,133.44 per annum
Discovery Primary Academy is a Success For All (SFA) Apex Hub who has become an SFA Flagship Academy. As an SFA Apex Hub we are able to use an exciting online tutoring program called Tutoring With Lightning Squad (TWLS) to support our children in all aspects of Reading.
We are thrilled to announce a vacancy for a Learning Administrator to deliver this program to our year 1 children. The position is available from September 2023 until the end of the academic year.
The academy will provide full training on Tutoring With Lightning Squad and eyesight screening. Support will be provided by the academy’s SFA Lead and a colleague who is also delivering the program. An awareness of phonics would be beneficial. If you would like to talk about the program before you apply, then please contact the academy office 01733 325001.
If you have the following skills, then this may be the position for you:
- Good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- An awareness of phonics taught to children when they learn to read
- The ability to liaise with class teachers and other staff to support the children using this program
- Someone who can follow instructions and is able to learn new skills and gain new knowledge
You will need to be:
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Someone who enjoys working with children
- Calm with lots of patience
- Flexible
- Reliable and hard working
