Salary: Grade 6.  From £16,322.87 per annum 

Discovery Primary Academy is seeking to employ a Teaching Assistant who is experienced in working 1:1 with children who have SEND. The number of SEND children in the academy is increasing due to the reputation of the academy for meeting all needs. The team is led by an Inclusion Manager who works tirelessly to support both children and staff. The successful assistant will receive updated training and support to settle into the new role.

We are looking for Teaching Assistant who will

• Have experience of working with children with SEND including those diagnosed with ASD
• Be calm and solution focused
• Be proactive and show initiative
• Support a child with personal care needs
• Be creative, flexible and kind in their approach to supporting children to achieve their best
• Have a good sense of fun and want to be part of a SEND team who want to make a difference to children with special needs.
