The Reading Retreat is Officially Open! The children in Key Stage 2 were absolutely gripped when Guy Bass led an assembly about his books and life as an author! Then alongside our Reading Champions, he officially opened our “Reading Retreat” library. A huge thank you to Mrs Canham and Mrs Bowman for everything they have done to make our library such a wonderful place for the children to feel inspired and develop a love of reading. Thank you to Mr Pinfold for all his hard work in managing the renovation of the room. We would also like to give a big thank you to Dane Robertson who created the murals for the library.
