The visit provided a valuable opportunity for children to learn first-hand about democracy, representation and the work of Parliament.

During the visit, Mr Pakes met with pupils from across the Academy and spent time with our newly elected Academy Councillors. In a proud and celebratory moment, he presented the councillors with their official badges and spoke to them about their responsibilities.
