At first your child will start the Foundation Stage on a very short, part-time basis - this will either be a morning or afternoon session. Once children are in full time, the school day is 8.30am - 3.10pm.

Lessons begin at 8.40am prompt. We therefore open the school gates just before the school doors open at 8.30am in order that all pupils can enter school ready to start lessons at 8.40am. 

Foundation Stage 

Morning	8.30am – 12.05pm
Lunch	11.40am- 12.20pm
Afternoon	12.55pm – 3.10pm

Collecting your child

In the Foundation Stage; parents are required to complete a 'collection of children' form which gives consent to all the adults who can collect your child. To ensure we keep your child safe we will only allow your child to be collected by someone you have named and given permission to on the form. 

Once the children are in full time, you collect them from their classroom door which opens onto the Foundation Stage Outdoor Area. The teacher will hand over the children one by one.  In the morning, the children also enter their classroom through these doors too.
