The children worked together to prepare the dough and cook it safely over the fire, practising important skills such as teamwork, patience and resilience. Along the way, they also explored the importance of fire safety and reflected on how to stay safe around a campfire.

To finish the activity, pupils created their own illustrated recipe cards filled with helpful safety tips before enjoying their delicious campfire bread with jam. What a tasty way to learn!  🍞
