Maths Hub's Cambridgeshire Maths Challenge

On Thursday afternoon, four Year 5 children competed against 9 other schools from the county in the Maths Hub's Cambridgeshire Maths Challenge.

They completed four very challenging rounds of arithmetic, reasoning and puzzle-based problems, including some interesting estimation tasks: Estimate how many dimples there are on a golf ball and estimate the height of Ely Cathedral's doors!

We are so proud of how well the team worked together and they were commended by the Maths Hub for their excellent attitude and arithmetic knowledge. They really represented DPA beautifully. Amazing work!
