Breakfast Club Provision
Discovery Primary Academy offers a breakfast club provision from 7.30am until 8.20am each morning. If you are interested in applying for a place, please visit the academy office for an application form. The club is flexible as some children come all week and some only come part of the week, which can fit in with parents' working commitments and there is no need to book your child in each week.
The club currently costs £3.50 per child, per day, which includes a hearty breakfast and time to play or enjoy a film before they start a full day of learning.
Prices from September will increase to £4.00 per child, per day.
Afterschool Clubs
Across the academic year, Discovery Primary Academy offers a wide range of after-school and lunchtime clubs to enable our children to experience as many different activities as possible.
This summer term we are running the following clubs:
Gardening, Lego, Art, STEM, Netball, Football, Multi Sports, Boardgames, Choir, and many more. Most of our clubs are free with the exception of our POSH Football clubs which run twice a week and cost £2.00 per child, per session.

Discovery Primary Academy also offers Drum Lessons and Guitar Lessons that happen during the day. If you are interested in your child taking part in these lessons, please let the academy office know, and we can provide contact details of the teachers for you to arrange to book a place and payment.
After-school Childcare Provision
Discovery Primary Academy works very closely with the Early Years Alliance Discovery Preschool, who offer an after-school club provision for childcare up to 6pm. If you are interested in your child attending the after-school club, please follow the link below for details.
